The Staff Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements. Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries, supporting the month-end and quarter-end close process Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items timely Maintain and update supporting schedules for a variety of GL accounts Assist in flux analysis by investigating and explaining period-over-period variances within the Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts Ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies and procedures Support internal controls and documentation in compliance with SOX requirements Support the external audit process Identify opportunities for process improvements and support automation initiatives Leverage and experiment with AI and other digital tools to streamline workflows and enhance reporting capabilities Perform a broad variety of tasks in support of the role and responsibilities Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 0-2 years of accounting experience (internship or public accounting experience is a plus) Foundational understanding of U.S. GAAP Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment CPA or CPA-eligible preferred, but not required Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar) is a plus SAAS and/or medical device industry experience Benefits Comprehensive health insurance, encompassing dental and vision coverage, is provided to all our employees.
