We are seeking a Billing Operations Analyst to join our Finance team, where you will support internal departments and external customers while driving operational efficiency across multiple teams. Responsibilities Leverage multiple internal tools and systems to research, analyze, and resolve complex billing questions and customer inquiries Partner closely with cross-functional teams—including Customer Success, Sales, DealDesk, Sales Systems, Order Operations, and Product—to provide support and insights into Datadog’s billing practices Help customers understand their invoices and billing details, which vary based on usage patterns and plan type Proactively identify, communicate, and collaborate with the Customer Success and Sales teams to resolve customer billing discrepancies and issues in a timely manner Manage and triage an incoming queue of requests and inquiries across Zendesk, Jira, and a dedicated Billing Operations Slack channel, ensuring prompt and accurate responses Contribute to ad-hoc projects and process improvement initiatives as they arise Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Computer Science 1–3 years of relevant professional work experience Proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for tackling new challenges and continuously improving existing processes Strong attention to detail with the ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Prior experience in a SaaS environment Hands-on experience with NetSuite and/or Salesforce Working knowledge of SQL Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and/or Metabase Benefits Generous and competitive benefits package New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan Continuous career development and pathing opportunities Employee-focused best in class onboarding Internal mentor and cross-departmental buddy program Friendly and inclusive workplace culture Datadog offers a competitive salary and equity package, and may include variable compensation.
