Then, you’ll fit right in at Futuro Perfecto, a team of Engineers, PhDs, Investment Managers, and Deep Tech Professionals specializing in European/American funding for disruptive innovation . Our clients are startups, SMEs, research institutions, universities, and public bodies seeking consulting services for their R&D projects. We work with programmes such as Horizon Europe, Eureka Eurostars, SBIR/ STTR for example. Our services also include private fundraising, consortia organization, and internationalization strategizing.

We are looking for a Senior Business Developer with a strong focus on new business generation , to engage with Deep Tech start-ups and partners who qualify for EU Funding Grants and collaborative projects, as well as building strategic partnerships across the EU funding ecosystem.


What you will do


  • Identify and engage startups, SMEs, corporates and research institutions across Europe.
  • Generate new business opportunities and build a strong pipeline.
  • Understand clients’ technologies and match them with relevant EU funding opportunities.
  • Build and nurture relationships across the innovation ecosystem (VCs, accelerators, universities, etc.).
  • Lead outreach and client conversations from first contact to conversion.
  • Represent the company at events and industry conferences.
  • Work across our multidisciplinary team to share opportunities and synergies.


What you bring


  • 3+ years of experience in Business Development / Sales, ideally in innovation, consulting, tech or funding-related environments.
  • Strong track record in new client acquisition (hunter mindset)
  • Solid negotiation skills and able to close deals.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills.
  • Curiosity and interest in technology, startups and innovation ecosystems.
  • Fluency in English (C1+). Other European languages are a plus.
  • Based in Madrid and eligible to work in the EU.
  • Proactive, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible, self-motivated and willing to go the extra mile.


Nice to have


  • Experience with EU funding programs or public grants is an advantage
  • Existing network in the European innovation / deep tech ecosystem.
