Welcome to what it is like to be a part of the Wizeprep team as an Online Tutor/Instructor. You’ll make your own work schedule, work will take place online around your other commitments and you’ll be tasked with creating Wizeprep study resources to support students understand their course materials.
Wizeprep is a rapidly growing education technology start-up that has developed the number 1 online study platform that improves students' grades while making studying stress-free. We support students with features like on-demand video tutorials, exam-like practice problems, and access to world-class tutors online live through group review sessions that take place throughout the school year on weekends and in the evenings during the week.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Job Responsibilities
- Leverage our library of written course materials to prepare for and host online group tutorial sessions for students.
- Create pre-recorded video tutorials that students can access on-demand to study for their courses.
- Answer student questions about study materials.

WHO YOU ARE

Have Already Completed or Are Currently Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree
You demonstrate expertise in the subject(s) you plan to teach for us and are at least currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.
Passionate About Helping Students
You are an encouraging educator who is passionate about supporting students to reach their full potential and who enjoys teaching.
Comfortable With Technology
You are comfortable working with different software including Zoom and don't shy away from leveraging technology.
Reliable & Communicative
You’re communicative and we can count on you to do what you say you will to the best of your ability. Further, you work great independently as well as part of a team.
Previous Teaching/Tutoring/Teaching Assistant Experience
You have previous experience teaching, tutoring, or being a teaching assistant and have helped students excel.
You Are an Expert in At Least One of the Following Subjects at the University Level:
- Accounting
- Biology (Cell Biology, Ecology & Evolution, Genetics, Molecular Biology, etc.)
- Biochemistry
- Chemistry (General, Physical & Organic)
- Computer Science
- Economics (Microeconomics & Macroeconomics)
- Engineering (Dynamics, Electricity, Magnetism, Statics, etc,)
- Finance
- Mathematics (Applied Math, Calculus, Differential Equations, Finite Math, Matrix Algebra, Linear Algebra, etc.)
- Physics (Electricity & Magnetism, Mechanics, etc,)
- Physiology
- Psychology
- Statistics
