About the position

The Senior Tax Accountant position is a key part of the Domestic Tax and Administration team within the Enterprise Operations Corporate Tax Organization. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting various financial tasks and projects, with opportunities for growth, development, and making a tangible impact on the company's financial success. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in R&D tax law, tax forecasting, tax compliance and support the IRS audit. You will work closely with other teams and departments to ensure seamless integration of tax-related activities and contribute to the company's financial success.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and document innovative activities eligible for the R&D tax credit, unlocking significant financial benefits for the company.

  • Drive financial insights by preparing various R&D calculations for quarterly close, tax returns, and long-range plans.
  • ,
  • Prepare responses to IRS audit requests, collaborating with cross-functional teams to substantiate tax positions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Analyze and interpret new and existing tax laws, court cases, regulations, and rulings to provide strategic insights regarding R&D tax credit positions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of tax practice experience.

  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
