<b>The new National Health Plan Enablement & Integration team's objective is to deliver immediate outcomes for the organization, while laying the groundwork necessary for Kaiser Permanente's long-term, sustainable performance.This team will drive enterprise health plan process improvement and the implementation of business methodologies and best practices, with the outcome of operational effectiveness and high-reliability systems. Collaboration with KP's markets and health plan teams is central to the approach towards modernization of health plan capabilities</b><br><br><b>Job Summary:</b><br><br>Provides expert consultation on strategy development by defining highly complex business problems and opportunities and identifying, weighing, and communicating and presenting alternative approaches. Ensures recommended approaches align to overarching strategic aims. Oversees and conducts highly complex analysis and oversees interpretation of market data and tests hypotheses using expert knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analytical tools to drive towards insightful and actionable insights for the business. Oversees the development and execution of highly complex projects and programs to drive deliverables and effective execution to ensure high-quality business outcomes. Identifies opportunities to adapt processes to improve Return on Investment (ROI), service quality, and operations for company-wide initiatives. Fosters strategic partnerships with senior leadership and establishes trusting relationships to act as a champion for the diverse and complex needs of key stakeholders.<br><br><b>Essential Responsibilities:</b><br><br><ul><li>Promotes learning in others by communicating information and providing advice to drive projects forward; builds collaborative, cross-functional relationships. Removes obstacles that impact performance; guides performance and develops contingency plans accordingly; influences the completion of project tasks by others.</li><li>Analyzes and interprets market data by: developing and implementing a plan to address highly complex or critical research questions and test hypotheses with expert knowledge in several areas of data collection and analysis; overseeing and conducting moderately or to highly complex or critical quantitative and qualitative analyses and investigating alternative hypotheses; and validating, interpreting and synthesizing key findings, conclusions, and recommendations for the future for senior leadership.</li><li>Facilitates process improvement efforts by: identifying opportunities to adapt processes to improve return on investment (ROI), operations, service quality, and results for company-wide initiatives; utilizing expert knowledge of business operations to oversee and conduct the implementation of best practices across the organization; and leading the adoption of best practices and future innovations.</li><li>Effectively manages projects and programs by: overseeing the development of highly complex project proposals, including establishing objectives, key stakeholders, milestones, and providing deep technical leadership across programs; overseeing progress on program deliverables in alignment with greater business strategy and key business outcomes across functions and organizations; demonstrating expert knowledge in, and identifying and implementing new methodologies to complete initiatives independently; and overseeing the execution of project plan, ensuring high-quality outcomes, and facilitating long term organizational learning.</li><li>Proactively maintains open streams of communication by: fostering trusting relationships to better navigate and act as a champion for the diverse and complex needs of stakeholders across the organizational landscape; identifying and resolving highly complex or critical issues or risks to strategic program implementation; fostering strategic partnerships with senior leadership to consult and influence the development and refinement of key priorities and strategy;
