About the position

The Senior Manager, SAP Finance Team Lead at YETI is a pivotal role responsible for leading mission-critical program and project initiatives within the Finance Systems and Integrations domain. This position requires a subject matter expert who will oversee a team of internal and external FICO resources, ensuring effective collaboration with other SAP teams, including SD and MM/PP, as well as technology and finance business teams. The goal is to deliver robust functionality in a timely manner, enhancing the overall efficiency of finance operations. As part of the Enterprise Systems team, which is undergoing a multi-year evolution towards a team-of-teams structure, the Senior Manager will play a crucial role in establishing an enterprise architecture practice. This role is expected to evolve into a Solution Architect position in the future, making knowledge and experience in enterprise architecture highly advantageous. The position is hybrid, requiring the individual to be located in Austin, Texas, and involves both onsite and remote work. The Senior Manager will be responsible for team management, project oversight, and program execution. This includes coaching and mentoring team members, collaborating across teams to improve internal practices, and supporting the development of workforce plans to optimize team capabilities. The role also involves identifying areas for improvement, gathering requirements from business and technology stakeholders, and leading the design and quality assurance of finance ES applications, primarily utilizing SAP as the core capability. The individual will ensure that all finance master data is accurately maintained and will provide support for troubleshooting and incident resolution as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct the work efforts of the Finance team members, consisting of both internal and external resources.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of hands-on experience working with Enterprise System technologies and specifically SAP technologies within Finance in an enterprise environment.
