As a rapidly expanding digital marketing agency, The Moonlighters specializes in performance marketing for 7-figure ecommerce brands, adept at transforming them into 8-figure powerhouses. We are currently seeking a numner of seasoned Senior Google & Facebook Ads Media Buyers to join their team on a full-time basis. As the Senior Media Buyer, you will lead and optimize a cohort of clients utilizing both Google Ads and Facebook Ads. You will be fully responsible for client management, full hands-on execution in the advertising platforms, and ownership of strategy. Everything from meetings to reporting to optimizing is handled in this position.

How You’ll Make An Impact:

This position will operate in two phases:

Phase 1 (30 Days)

  • Training on our process and in-depth training of our M3 Method.
  • Shadowing our top-performing team members and our founder across a variety of client-facing calls.
  • Client onboarding begins, you are introduced to your first client, and hands-on 1/1 mentoring is provided to implement our process fully.
  • Client launches begin, you own the relationship and are mentored by our Founder, Sam, and top-performing team members.

Phase 2 (30+ Days)

  • You will begin to ramp up your client load to have full ownership of 6 clients, independently. Core activities will include:
  • Ownership of strategies that align with clients' KPIs and revenue growth targets.
  • Daily in-platform optimizing and execution - Regularly analyzing campaign performances, troubleshooting issues, and implementing optimizations to maximize ROAS/KPIs.
  • Daily Slack communication - Leading all client communications, ensuring transparency, strategy updates, and strong relationship management.
  • Weekly client performance reviews.
  • Monthly client creative reviews.

Phase 3 (1+ Yrs ~ Leadership)

  • Top performers in this role will have a clear path for growth to become a Pod Leader. Pod Leaders manage a team of Growth Directors, keeping the entire pod in line to hit KPIs, and reduce overall churn. This step requires attention to detail, proof of performance, and a strong rapport with the team.

Essentials for the Role:Google & Facebook Ads Mastery:

  • Proven experience in managing both Google Ads and Facebook Ads for various ecommerce brands.
  • In-depth knowledge of optimizing ads, launching new campaigns, and troubleshooting errors.
  • Complete understanding of shopping feed management.
  • Facebook Ads campaign structuring, audience segmentation, and creative strategy.
  • If you regularly rattle off these acronyms in conversation, this role is for you: CPC, CTR, CPM, MER, ROI, ROAS, CPA, CAC, CVR...

Agency Account Management:

  • Proven experience in managing ecommerce brand accounts within an agency setting.
  • Proficient in managing client reporting, performance calls, and creative discussions.
  • Exceptional confidence in communication, making clients feel heard and understood.

Tracking and Analytics:

  • Comprehensive understanding of tracking mechanisms.
  • Proficient in utilizing UTMs for effective tracking and analysis.
  • Familiarity with third-party tracking solutions and attribution models.

Shopify Proficiency:

  • Hands-on experience with Shopify, demonstrating a solid understanding of the platform.

Google Sheets Proficiency:

  • Basic foundational experience in Google Sheets.
  • Ability to manipulate and customize reporting to meet specific client needs.

Previous Experience:

  • 5 Years Experience in Google Ads and Facebook Ads for ecommerce brands.
  • 5 Years Experience in client-facing management.

This is a full-time remote position, and salary will be discussed at the interview stage.
