We are currently seeking a Senior Sales Executive with IT Services sales experience within the Canadian public sector. The candidate should be based in the eastern Canada provinces (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Labrador, and Prince Edward Island.

Sales Executive - Eastern Canada (Atlantic Provinces)

The Sales Executive - Eastern Canada (Atlantic Provinces) will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing IT services opportunities within provincial governments, health authorities, municipal organizations, and crown corporations across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Labrador, and Prince Edward Island. This role requires strong familiarity with Atlantic public-sector procurement environments and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior government and healthcare leaders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand NTT DATA's footprint across Eastern Canada's public-sector landscape, with emphasis on health authorities and provincial ministries.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities aligned with NTT DATA's portfolio, including digital government modernization, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, data & AI, digital mailroom/Intelligent BPS, EMR integration, and managed services.
  • Cultivate strong executive relationships across Atlantic government and healthcare clients; conduct stakeholder mapping and lead pre-RFP engagement.
  • Partner with Client Executives, Delivery Executives, and Service Portfolio Leaders to craft customized, value-driven proposals.
  • Lead full-cycle sales execution, manage complex procurements, and negotiate multi-year agreements.
  • Meet or exceed annual sales targets and maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Enhance NTT DATA's visibility in the region through participation in public-sector events, associations, committees, and digital government forums.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • 10 years of IT services/solutions sales experience, with at least 5 years focused on Canadian provincial public sector (health, ministries, crowns, municipal).
  • 5+ years of experience of closing complex, high-value contracts ($5M+ TCV).
  • 5+ years of experience with Eastern Canadian public-sector procurement processes and shared-services models.

Preferred Experience
  • Strong relationships with Atlantic provincial ministries, health authorities, crowns, and municipalities.
  • Deep knowledge of digital modernization, cloud, cybersecurity, analytics/AI, and managed services.
  • Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding annual quotas.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and executive relationship-building skills.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
