**Part-Time Research Writer for Cantonese TV programs** Fairchild Television Ltd. (Eastern Division) is seeking a research writer for our Toronto office for researching and collecting theme-related materials, arranging for interviewing, filming and composing manuscripts for TV programs. **Requirement**: - Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills - Familiar with up-to-date community events - Fluent in spoken and written Cantonese, English, and Mandarin (Cantonese & English are a must) - Have a flair for clear, concise script writing in Cantonese - May need to work in evenings, weekends &/or public holidays if required for work - Proficient skills with computer and office software (Microsoft Office & Outlook) - Preliminary knowledge of editing software (Adobe) is preferred - Demonstrate an ability to thrive in a creative, fast-paced working environment and generate story ideas - Strong analytical skills and a strong interest in working with research material - Self-confidence and ability to work under deadline pressures - Those with TV script writing experience are the priority How to apply: Fairchild Television Ltd. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
