Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Remote Podcast Community Moderator to join our growing team. This is a 100% remote position. As a Community Moderator, you will be at the forefront of fostering a positive and engaging environment for our podcast listeners and creators across various platforms. You will play a crucial role in monitoring discussions, responding to inquiries, facilitating conversations, and ensuring our community guidelines are upheld, contributing directly to the vibrant ecosystem of Spotify podcasts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and moderate user-generated content across various Spotify podcast community platforms (forums, social media, comments sections, etc.).
  • Engage actively with community members, answering questions, providing support, and fostering positive interactions.
  • Enforce community guidelines and policies, taking appropriate action on reported content or user behavior.
  • Identify and escalate critical issues, trends, or feedback to relevant internal teams.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase community engagement and participation.
  • Collaborate with content creators and internal teams to promote new podcasts and community initiatives.
  • Prepare regular reports on community sentiment, growth, and key metrics.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proven experience in online community moderation or management.
  • Strong understanding of online safety, privacy, and community best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of empathy and diplomacy.
  • Familiarity with various social media platforms and online forum tools.
