Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately review and assign appropriate medical codes (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) to patient diagnoses and procedures.

  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company coding policies.

  • Input data into healthcare records systems with high accuracy and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with coding supervisors and quality assurance teams to ensure ongoing accuracy.

  • Research and resolve coding discrepancies when flagged.

  • Participate in ongoing training programs to stay updated on coding guidelines and healthcare regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).

  • Basic computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel).

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to learn new concepts quickly and apply them in practice.

Experience

  • No previous experience required – this is an entry-level position.

Working Hours
