Growing together.</strong><br><br>We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Provider Engagement Representative to lead and facilitate provider meetings, deliver impactful presentations, and foster strong relationships with healthcare providers. This role requires a confident communicator with a strong presence, the ability to read the room, and adapt messaging to suit diverse audiences. The ideal candidate will also support providers with claims resolution, assist with provider portal navigation, and help communicate upcoming service enhancements to ensure a seamless and informed provider experience.<br><br>If you are located in St. Louis, MO, you will have the flexibility to Work from home and the office in this hybrid role* as you take on some tough challenges.<br><br><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong><br><br><ul> <li>Plan, coordinate, and lead provider meetings, both in-person and virtual, to communicate updates, initiatives, and performance metrics.</li> <li>Deliver engaging presentations that clearly convey complex information in a compelling and accessible manner.</li> <li>Read and respond to audience cues to adjust tone, pace, and content delivery in real-time.</li> <li>Build and maintain strong relationships with providers to ensure alignment with organizational goals and initiatives.</li> <li>Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., clinical, operations, and network development) to ensure consistent messaging and support.</li> <li>Gather feedback from providers and relay insights to internal stakeholders for continuous improvement.</li> <li>Maintain detailed records of meetings, follow-ups, and action items.</li> <li>Assist in the end-to-end resolution of provider claims, ensuring timely and accurate outcomes.</li> <li>Provide training and support on the use of the provider portal, including navigation, troubleshooting, and feature updates.</li> <li>Collaborate with internal teams to support the rollout of future service improvements and digital tools.</li> </ul><br>You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.<br> <br><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong><br><br><ul> <li>4+ years of health care/managed care experience</li> <li>2+ years of provider relations and/or provider network experience</li> <li>1+ years of experience with Medicare and Medicaid regulations</li> <li>Intermediate level of proficiency in claims processing and issue resolution</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams)</li> <li>Current residence in the state of Missouri</li> <li>Driver's License and access to a reliable transportation</li> <li>Ability to travel regionally up to 50%</li> </ul><br><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong><br><br><ul> <li>Experience working in a Skilled Nursing or Assisted Living Facility</li> <li>Exceptional presentation, written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines</li> </ul><br>*All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.<br><br>Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $58,800 to $105,000 annually based on full-time employment.
