Job description Company Overview: Amazon is a global leader in e-commerce and logistics, focused on delivering a seamless shopping experience to customers. As a Amazon Personal Shopper, you will join the fulfillment center team and contribute to Amazon’s mission by efficiently picking, packing, and preparing customer orders using advanced technology and automated systems. Role and Responsibilities: As a Amazon Personal Shopper, you will be responsible for ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled while following safety and quality guidelines. You will work closely with your team to meet daily operational goals and provide excellent service. • Collect customer orders from shelving using handheld devices and company systems. • Package items following Amazon’s guidelines and customer requirements. • Inspect products for damage or defects before packing and shipping. • Confirm order accuracy before dispatching shipments. • Report inventory or order discrepancies to supervisors promptly. • Utilize inventory management systems to locate and retrieve products. • Assist with restocking shelves and performing inventory audits. • Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). • Notify supervisors immediately of any safety concerns or incidents. • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily fulfillment targets. • Maintain effective communication with supervisors and colleagues to resolve issues. • Use scanning devices and proprietary software to track inventory and workflow progress. • Handle returns and exchanges according to company policies. • Adapt to changing tasks and priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
