Your Responsibilities

As a Product Marketing Representative for John Deere Planters located in Moline, IL, you will collaborate and communicate the customer value through ECAP deliverables and create the new product messaging for regional 3.0 tactical teams. lead initiatives to execute the Enterprise Customer Acquisition Process (ECAP) for Planter Product Development Programs (EPDP) and support strategic and tactical marketing activities.

  • Own ECAP 2.3
  • Develop the Product VPD that incorporates technology adoption, agronomic data, environmental / sustainability goals and solution opportunities to maximize value / revenue​
  • Develop and lead activities in the MLP​
  • Develop short customer value stories highlighting the John Deere Difference by product within VSN
  • Support ECAP 2.1 & 2.2
  • Contribute to creation of the PUC dashboard, bringing perspective through a VPD lens​
  • Contribute to CND prioritization​
  • Partner with Product Manager to validate the product and product messaging with the market (field, dealers, customers) through CAGs, CFGs, DAGs and customer visits
Additionally, you will...
  • Influence ECAP3.0 Influence go to market tactics and messaging
  • Partner with Region on launch activities including photo shoots, trade shows, and training events (LAIS)​
  • Manage LPB's and feedback back into product teams to shape product and messaging.
  • Subject Mater Expert (SMR) for current products
  • Maintain and update the VSN stories (specs, compatibility charts, etc.)​
  • Own, Maintain, and update the Competitive Comparisons

  • Have a creative mind with a knack for speaking the customers language
  • Understand the production system for Corn and Soybeans
  • Experience executing in a team environment, and being the relentless voice of customers
  • Experience giving effective presentations in front of groups
