Position Summary<br><br>Contractor<br><br><em>New York<br><br></em>Work you'll do<br><br>As an Industry SME Contractor, you will leverage your specialized knowledge to support Deloitte project teams in delivering impactful, sustainable solutions for large-scale energy and infrastructure projects around the globe. Your expertise will help structure and execute complex investments across technologies such as solar, wind, geothermal, energy storage, and public-private partnerships (PPP), with a holistic approach that incorporates financial, technical, and stakeholder considerations.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Contribute in conducting in-depth analysis and provide expert insights on industry trends, challenges, investment opportunities, and emerging markets within the global energy and infrastructure sectors. </li><li>Contribute in developing and communicating detailed reports and presentations that translate complex industry findings into actionable recommendations for clients and stakeholders. </li><li>Collaborate with project teams to integrate industry best practices, technical advancements, and innovative finance structures into project deliverables. </li><li>Contribute in structuring large-scale energy and infrastructure investment projects—including renewable generation, storage solutions, and PPP initiatives—ensuring alignment with client goals and regulatory standards. </li><li>Support in strategic planning and solution development, applying macro-level thinking, market insights, and deal structuring to create, evaluate, and execute mega-deals. </li><li>Contributing by providing subject matter expertise during client meetings and workshops, addressing queries across technology assessment, financial modelling, project management, and stakeholder engagement. </li><li>Support in integrate multidisciplinary perspectives, combining financial, technical, operational, and stakeholder factors to optimize project outcomes and maximize sustainable impact. </li><li>Demonstrate advanced skills in financial modelling, project management, and technology assessment across renewables, nuclear, and energy storage.<br><br></li></ul><strong>The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $240- $250 per hour.  The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.<br><br></strong><strong>Candidates interested in applying for this opportunity must be geographically based in the United States and must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship</strong>.<br><br><strong>We do not accept agency resumes and are not responsible for any fees related to unsolicited resumes.<br><br></strong><strong>Deloitte is not the employer for this role. <br><br></strong><strong>This work is contracted through a third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.<br><br></strong>#Onsite<br><br>Expected Work Schedule<br><br>Approximate hours per week<br><br><strong>About Deloitte<br><br></strong>Our inclusive culture empowers our people to be who they are, contribute their unique perspectives, and make a difference individually and collectively.
