This critical role will involve collaborating closely with design and test engineering teams across multiple electronic module projects. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a passion for reliability engineering and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br><br><strong>What you'll do...</strong><br><ul> <li>Lead and execute hardware reliability analysis, including Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, test, manufacturing) throughout the product lifecycle to ensure robust reliability and quality.</li> <li>Support the development and execution of environmental and reliability validation processes, procedures and plans, ensuring compliance with both Ford and industry standards.</li> <li>Participate in design reviews, providing expert guidance on reliability best practices and potential failure modes.</li> <li>Contribute to the continuous improvement of hardware reliability processes and methodologies.</li> <li>Analyze reliability data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions to enhance product performance and durability. </li> <li>Document and communicate technical findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li></ul><br><br><strong>Qualifications</strong><br><br><strong>You'll have...</strong><br><ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Technology Engineering, Mechanical Technology Engineering, or equivalent.</li> <li>Proven experience (3+ years) in electronic hardware reliability engineering, with a strong track record of success in applying DFMEA, PFMEA, and RCCA methodologies.</li> <li>Deep understanding of electronic component failure mechanisms and reliability prediction techniques.</li> <li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li></ul><br><strong>Even better, you may have...</strong><br><ul> <li>Master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.</li> <li>Experience with Jira and Confluence Atlassian Tools.</li> <li>Detailed understanding of Test System Design and Software Automation.</li> <li>5+ Years experience with automotive electronic modules and systems.</li> <li>Knowledge of industry standards.
