**This is a remote position for candidates all over Canada. There is a chance we will move into an office in the GTA, however, we will always offer WFH employment.

If you’re the type of person who lights up when creating a beautifully balanced social graphic, can lose yourself for hours building clean, intuitive Figma wireframes, and find joy editing TikToks or Reels that hit just right… keep reading. If crafting email layouts with Figma components is your kind of fun, if Adobe’s AI tools feel like secret superpowers for fixing RAW photos or generating fresh assets, if building out branding concepts gets your creativity firing, and if you love making cute stop-motion clips or quick animated visuals — all while working from your couch in your comfiest sweats with Friends or The Office playing in the background — then you’ll feel right at home with us.

We’re looking for a full-time Graphic Designer who can move seamlessly between UI/UX work, social media design, email layouts, motion/short-form content, and the occasional print or product asset. You’ll sit on our design & dev team but collaborate closely across the company to support our Full Circle Approach to Digital Marketing. If you love creating digital work that’s visually compelling, easy to understand, and built to convert — we want to hear from you.

WHO WE ARE:

We’re a Toronto-based, fully remote, Shopify Plus digital marketing agency with 20+ team members. Since 2015, we’ve supported clients worldwide through services such as paid and organic social, email/SMS strategy, website design & development, branding, influencer partnerships, Amazon & ecommerce management, US-based fulfillment, and customer service.

Our clients span industries like skincare, apparel, CPG, baby, lifestyle, home, beauty, hospitality, wellness, real estate, and more — and some have been spotlighted in Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Forbes, Business Insider, GOOP, or are on major retail shelves at Target, Walmart, Loblaws, and others. One of them even hosted the White House Correspondents Dinner!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Social Media Design: Collaborate with our Social team to build cohesive, scroll-stopping static and animated graphics that match campaign concepts, copy, and strategic direction.
  • Web & Landing Page Design: Use Figma to develop clean, accessible, conversion-oriented UI mockups for Shopify, Webflow, and WordPress (mobile + desktop). Participate in design reviews with dev to ensure the final product mirrors the vision.
  • Paid Ad Creative: Partner with our Growth team to design ads for Meta, TikTok, Google, and other platforms — including static images, motion assets, and short-form video.
  • Email Design & Builds: Support our Lifecycle specialists by designing email layouts in Figma and building them in platforms like Klaviyo and Attentive.
  • Brand Identity & Quality Control: Champion brand guidelines across all deliverables, maintain and reference brand documentation, and occasionally create new guideline systems when needed. Ensure every asset meets both client standards and our internal expectations for quality.
  • Print & Product Materials (occasional): Develop print-ready items such as business cards, banners, flyers, patterns, merch, or packaging that align with digital brand identity.
  • Creative Collaboration & Strategic Contribution: Share insights, provide feedback, and contribute ideas to help elevate the overall quality of the work produced across the team.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay curious — take courses, watch webinars, learn new tools, and actively seek and apply feedback from our Director of Brand Strategy.
  • Time & Workflow Management: Partner with your team lead and Project Coordinator to keep timelines on track and speak up when more time is needed.
  • Creative Optimization: Use analytics provided by our Digital Performance Analyst and other team members to evolve and refine assets for performance.
  • Full Circle Collaboration: Work cross-functionally to ensure creative integrates with strategy, customer experience, and the entire digital journey.

HOW SUCCESS IS MEASURED:

  • Quality and creativity of delivered assets
  • Timeliness and ability to stay within budget
  • Performance indicators (CTR, Thumbstop Rate, Impressions, Views, etc.)
  • Client feedback and satisfaction
  • Ability to turn strategic direction into compelling visual output
  • Team collaboration and communication

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • 1–2+ years deep experience in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and After Effects
  • 1–2+ years working in Figma
  • Experience designing for organic and paid social channels
  • Experience designing email layouts
  • Experience creating responsive, accessible, intuitive web experiences and working with developers
  • Familiarity with ecommerce
  • A portfolio demonstrating the above
  • Ability to use analytics to improve creative direction
  • Incredible attention to detail — include the code isgd2025 in your cover letter
  • Comfort in a laid-back environment while staying productive
  • A desire to enjoy your work and collaborate with a fun, talented team

WHY YOU’LL LOVE WORKING HERE:

  • Fully remote forever, with optional future hybrid opportunities
  • A supportive team that genuinely enjoys working together
  • Weekly stretch breaks + game time (you won’t beat our boss at Mario Kart Tour, but you can try)
  • Fun events like Muskoka retreats, holiday parties, murder mystery nights, and creative workshops
  • Health Spending Account
  • 2 weeks vacation + 5 personal days
  • Free company swag (shop.insocial.ca)
  • Bonus opportunities tied to performance
  • Huge growth potential — we promote internally 95% of the time
  • Free goodies from clients
  • The chance to take creative risks, experiment, and build cool sh*t

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW:

  • Trust is the backbone of how we work
  • You’ll receive intense training upfront so you’re set up for success
  • We’re a female-led, 2SLGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and differently-abled allied team
  • We expect a lot from each other — in the best way
  • And we’ll expect you to expect the same from us

If this feels like the kind of role and team you’d thrive in, we’d love to hear from you.
