WHO YOULL WORK WITH

The Global Finance Lead serves a key role on Converses Global Finance team and reports directly to the Global Finance Director. They partner with the Converse CFO and Senior Leadership to deliver financial reporting and analysis that drive the brands transformation agenda. This role connects you with geo and functional leaders worldwide providing strategic insights that shape decisions across the business.

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education experience and training
  • 6years of experience in finance strategic planning investment analysis economic profit analysis accounting and/or budgeting
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities thriving independently and resourcefully
  • Ability to communicate with clarity and influence fostering teamwork and building strong relationships across diverse groups
  • A drive to seek information make things happen and contribute meaningfully within a team environment

WHAT YOULL WORK ON

As a Finance Lead youll interpret and review financial results with the Converse CFO and senior leaders turning insights into actions that drive business performance. Youll play a critical role in Converses Financial Planning processes (forecasting budgeting and in-year performance management) giving you unique visibility into every P&L lever and financial metric across the globe. Youll collaborate with a broad network of stakeholders in Finance Planning and across the global enterprise ensuring alignment and impact at every level.

  • Partner with other Global Finance Leads to prepare and own the consolidated Converse annual budget that reflects holistic strategic business plans
  • Responsible for orchestrating and executing monthly forecasting and reporting process
  • Provide input and commentary related to actuals performance and forecasts
  • Own the consolidated monthly outlook and forecast for Converse understanding and advising the appropriate levers to pull across geographies and P&L dimensions
  • Interface with NIKE Inc. to provide insight into Converse performance and forecast
  • Monitor progress against budgets/targets and work with leaders to ensure accountability; and to ensure working capital is efficiently and effectively utilized
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clearly understand risks and opportunities to financial forecasts and to advise strategies to help the business achieve financial objectives
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis in support of strategic initiatives and to improve profitability. This could include scenario and investment analysis
  • In addition youll work towards streamlining processes and tools in respect to business planning aiming to improve efficiency without sacrificing quality
