We are currently hiring for Field Adjusters to join our Property Field Claims team. This role will be home based and we are looking for adjusters in the Greater Vancouver/Lower Mainland Area.

What you’ll do:

  • Completes on site and/or virtual inspections of personal and commercial claims

  • Responsible for capturing the scope of damages and writing repair estimates to settle claims

  • Reconciles and validates vendor estimates to ensure price and scope is appropriate

  • Investigate by meeting with insureds, third parties, witnesses and lawyers in or order to obtain facts and information.

  • Review facts, policy, technical reports, fire marshall reports, case law, and make decisions on coverage, value of the claim and negotiate/settle the claim accordingly

  • Responsible for providing exemplary customer service and keeping related parties informed of the claims status.

  • Responsible for data accuracy, issuance of payments to insureds, vendors and other insurance companies.

  • Assistance during CAT's within Canada.

  • Correspond with third parties, lawyers, insureds, brokers and individuals or companies who have an interest in the claim settlement.

What you’ll bring:

  • 2+ years experience as a Field adjuster handling Personal Lines and Commercial lines claims

  • Strong background in Property Insurance

  • Preference given to a candidate with the ability to scope damages and prepare an estimate for repairs

  • Good PC skills and adaptable using new technology

  • Valid drivers license

What you’ll get:

  • The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000. Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.
