We specialize in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I / DD), helping them live full, independent lives. Whether you're experienced or just starting out, we offer the training, flexibility, and support to help you thrive.

  • Sewickley, PA

What You’ll Do

As a DSP, you’ll play a vital role in helping individuals reach their goals and enjoy life to the fullest. Responsibilities include :

  • Supporting behavioral, social, and vocational development
  • Assisting with recreational and leisure activities
  • Following treatment plans and documenting progress
  • Providing companionship and respite care
  • Submitting documentation and payroll data on schedule
  • Participating in ongoing training and development
  • Addressing personal care needs when required
  • Working independently in home and community settings
  • What We’re Looking For

  • A genuine interest in supporting individuals with I / DD
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass background checks
  • Physical ability to assist with lifting if needed
  • CPR / First Aid certification (training provided)
  • Compensation

  • $19 / hour
  • Schedule

  • 20+ Hours a Week!
  • Experience

  • 1 year of caregiving experience preferred
  • Weekly pay
  • Paid onboarding and holidays
  • Competitive wages
  • Medical, dental, life insurance, and 401(k) available based on hours worked
  • $333 after 90 days (minimum 20 hours / week)
  • $333 after 6 months (minimum 20 hours / week)
  • $334 after 1 year (minimum 20 hours / week)
  • Note : Bonus not available for Residential Services or Relative as Provider (RAP) hires. Applicants must not have worked for Abound Health or its affiliates within the past 18 months.
