<strong>About the Team:<br><br></strong>We are seeking a Data Analyst Trainee to support the Central Procurement Desk and Travel Desk at Sea Limited. This traineeship offers hands-on experience in analyzing procurement and group travel data, identifying trends, and supporting data-driven recommendations that enhance compliance and process efficiency. You will gain exposure to real-world data analytics within procurement and group travel operations. The program aims to develop your analytical and problem-solving capabilities using large datasets and reporting tools to support business insights and continuous improvement initiatives.<br><br><strong>Job Description:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Collect, clean, and analyze procurement and travel-related data to identify key trends and anomalies.</li><li>Prepare data visualizations and performance dashboards to communicate insights effectively.</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and compliance.</li><li>Assist in preparing analytical reports and presentations for management review.</li><li>Support process improvement initiatives and AI automation projects through data-driven insights.</li><li>Apply data analysis and reporting techniques to real-world business operations. </li><li>Strengthen analytical thinking and problem-solving skills through hands-on experience. </li><li>Gain practical exposure to procurement and travel data systems, policies, and compliance frameworks.</li><li>Ability to translate data findings into actionable business recommendations<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Requirements:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Graduated or graduating in 2024 or 2025 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field; or graduated earlier and completed National Service in 2024 or 2025 Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident </li><li>Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts, etc.); familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus. </li><li>Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail. </li><li>Eager to learn about procurement operations, compliance, and data-driven process improvement. </li><li>Good communication and collaboration skills, and willingness to work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment</li></ul>
