This role focuses on leveraging the CVENT platform to manage event registration, housing, and reporting for congresses. The CVENT Data and Specialist ensures accurate data collection, reporting, and analytics to provide actionable insights. They also troubleshoot technical issues, optimize workflows within the platform, and ensure all data aligns with client’s compliance and privacy standards and provides event registration services as a member of our Meeting & Events Team.

This role will build event registration websites in an innovative way, reflecting a customer-obsessed and operational transformative approach. In addition to that, consistently deliver exceptional customer service by fostering an environment of hospitality for clients, customers and colleagues. Includes configuring the right system features and functionality to allow a smooth attendee registration process, designing a pleasing ‘look and feel’ using branded assets and templates, and enabling integration with other relevant systems.

What You'll Do:

  • Uses technology to manage or support the attendee registration process
  • Consults with event owners via live calls and email on website functionality, event registration requirements, and branding/design features to ensure a smooth attendee registration experience
  • Creates Cvent attendee registration sites in meeting technology (Cvent), per customer requirements
  • Follows team processes and standard operating procedures
  • Creates Cvent attendee communications using templates and customer-provided content (i.e. invitations, event reminders, know before you go, waitlists, etc.)
  • Manages distribution of system-generated emails to invitees and registrants
  • Completes website pre-launch checklist
  • Tests site for misspellings, errors, and registration flow, prior to event owner testing
  • Reviews site with event owners via live call to make real-time edits before event owner testing
  • Collaborates with event owners on any site changes
  • Creates standard and custom event reports
  • Creates and launches post-event attendee surveys and provide survey reporting, as needed
  • Manages integration of registrant data with other relevant systems
  • Records time supported on events for accurate reporting and billing
  • Interacts with Cvent Tech Support and Help Community to troubleshoot issues, as needed
  • Participates in team and tech super user communities to share best practices, lessons learned, examples of successful event registration, recommended training modules, etc.
  • Maintains proficiency on Cvent registration tools through regular training, as required

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience working in the Cvent event registration system
  • Expert experience in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Flash
  • Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Cvent certifications in Event Management, Virtual and/or Hybrid events
  • Strong customer-service / communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and adept to working with new technology
  • Experience in event planning or attendee management
  • Self-starter for continued education on technology; ability to work independent

The US national base salary range for this position is from 

$70,700.00 - $131,300.00

The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role.  Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.

In addition to base salary, the anticipated range of which is posted above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus which rewards participants based on individual and/or company performance.
