Role: Creative Video Editor Internship

Location: Remote

Duration: 4 months Unpaid Internship with the potential to convert to a full-time opportunity

Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative Video Editor Intern to join our dynamic team. As a Video Editor Intern, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual narrative of our AI products. You will be responsible for assembling raw footage into polished, compelling videos that captivate our audience and align with our brand's message. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of video editing techniques, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Editing: Take raw footage and transform it into engaging and seamless videos while maintaining a strong sense of storytelling. Edit footage for pacing, continuity, and visual impact, ensuring the final product meets the desired standards.

Storytelling: Collaborate with the creative team to understand the project's objectives and develop a clear narrative structure. Enhance the storytelling through effective shot selection, transitions, and audio integration.

*Color Correction and Grading: *Apply color correction and grading techniques to enhance the visual appeal and mood of the videos, maintaining consistency throughout.

Audio Enhancement: Edit and mix audio to ensure high-quality sound. Add appropriate background music, sound effects, and voiceovers to complement the visual elements.

Graphics and Effects: Integrate graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance the video's impact and convey information effectively.

Collaboration: Work closely with the content creators, videographers, and other team members to understand project goals and provide creative input. Incorporate feedback to refine and improve the final product.

Organization: Maintain an organized library of project files, assets, and resources for efficient access and collaboration.

Adaptation: Edit content for various platforms and formats, including social media, websites, presentations, and more, while adhering to platform-specific requirements.

Technical Proficiency: Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing software, techniques, and trends to ensure efficient and innovative video production.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Video Editor or a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of video projects.

Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.

Solid understanding of video editing principles, including pacing, storytelling, color correction, and audio mixing.

Knowledge of motion graphics, visual effects, and animation is a plus.

Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Basic understanding of video formats, codecs, and resolutions for various platforms.

A degree or relevant certification in film production, multimedia, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
