Job Description: Long Haul Truck Driver (Canada to USA)

Position : Long Haul Truck Driver

Location: Canada to USA Routes

Compensation: $0.63 per mile, plus additional compensation for waiting time and live unloads

Schedule: 7-day cycle

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team, transporting goods from Canada to various locations across the USA like New Jersey, Philadelphia and New England . This role requires a reliable and safety-conscious driver who is comfortable with long-distance travel and can adhere to strict schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate and maintain a commercial truck while transporting goods across the Canada-US border.

- Ensure timely delivery of cargo while adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines.

- Manage logistics and communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status.

- Accurately complete all necessary documentation related to transportation and customs.

- Assist with live unloads as required.

Compensation Details:

- Mileage Rate: $0.63 per mile

- Waiting Time: $26 per hour after 2 hours of waiting

- Live Unload Fee: $50 per unload

Qualifications:

- Valid Class 1/A license with a clean driving record.

- Minimum of 2 years experience in long haul trucking.

- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety practices.

- Ability to navigate and read maps and GPS.

- Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service.

- Must be willing to undergo random drug testing.
