Job description: About the Position:

The role of ADP Specialist & Payroll Manageris critical to the effectiveness of the entire Center operation. The ADP Specialist must be highly skilled in multiple aspects of ADP; be able to assist with general bookkeeping and accounting; be able to interact with employees and all staff with courtesy, patience and understanding; and be ready to address questions on a range of related topics. This position will report to the Head of Finance.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of a bi-weekly Payroll for a staff of 100
  • Create and maintain both Standard and Customized Reports in ADP
  • Ensure ADP Time and Attendance Records are properly handled and accurate
  • Set up and manage all employee payroll records in ADP and other electronic formats as may be needed
  • Calculate and enter wage and benefit information, pre-tax deductions such as FSA, HSA and Transportation, and all other required data for payroll purposes
  • Resolve issues and answer payroll questions within all levels of the organization
  • Research, document and explain payroll policies and procedures for employees and management
  • Assist with general accounting and bookkeeping needs on the Finance Team
  • Process and maintain annual W-2's, taxable fringe benefit input, and 403(b) compliance
  • Perform administrative functions including maintaining payroll files and forms
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Two to three years of in-depth experience using ADP Workforce Now modules, including:
  • Reports & Analytics
  • Payroll for a staff of 100
  • Time & Attendance
  • Recruitment
  • Having a current ADP Payroll Certification is a plus
  • Proven track record of accuracy and timely completion of projects
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in a critical deadline environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple work streams comfortably and methodically, to set priorities, to meet deadlines, and to work with high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work collaboratively and positively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Resourceful in executing on tasks and finding solutions when problems arise
  • Trustworthy with sensitive information
  • Necessary authorizations to work in the United States of America
