Job Description & Program Overview

Corporate Banking New York - Healthcare encompasses Bank of America’s corporate lending, advisory and capital markets businesses in the region. Our corporate banking analyst program offers you the opportunity to work as part of our team, serving the long-term needs of top corporations and financial institutions. Your role during the internship will provide you with a valuable analytical based work experience focused on the financial markets that will give you true insight into life as a corporate banker and a strong platform to launch your career. Our specialized product teams focus on corporate lending, corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions and capital markets working together with the origination bankers seamlessly to help clients grow their businesses. The origination teams are organized by country, industry or product coverage.

 

The Analyst program is designed to offer you broad and exciting exposure to the full breadth of products and services we offer to our clients and prospects. Your training and development are our top priority, with extensive formal training offered at the start of the program in addition to on-the-job support.

 

As an analyst, your key tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Developing and maintaining complex financial models
  • Performing various financial analyses, including valuations and merger consequences
  • Conducting comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research
  • Preparation of presentation and other materials for clients
  • Communication and interaction with deal team members

 

Qualifications

  • Candidates are required to be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or a Bachelor’s direct to Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a graduation time frame between November 2025 and August 2026
  • Must demonstrate a track record of superior performance in extracurricular and professional activities
  • 3.5 minimum GPA preferred
  • Must have a combination of strong quantitative/analytical skills, attention to detail and client focus
  • Strategic and creative thinking; distinguished written and oral communications skills
  • Assertiveness, initiative, leadership, strong work ethic, team focus
  • Ability to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities
  • Dedication to building a career in the corporate banking industry
